I. Call to Order
- The general meeting was called to order @ 12:05 pm by Breck Cook, President
- Members Present: Breck Cook, Ted Zuk, Marc Bangma, Serena Locke, Tim Stacey, Dave Jahn, Nathanial Patzke, Frank Wharregard, Chad Wiltrout, Chase Browning, Steve Parks, Jack Nickels, Wendy McKay, Melany Kelmmer, Bryan Dorris, Brady Hickman

II. Approval of Agenda / Minutes
Minutes from January 2024
- Chase Browning made a motion to approve the minutes.
- Nathanial Patzke made a second to the motion.
- Motion approved.
III. Reports of Officers
Treasure’s report January 2024
- Treasurer’s Operating Report – Nathanial Patzke
- Chase Browning made a motion to approve the report.
- Chad Wiltrout made a second to the motion.
- Motion approved.
IV. Guest Speakers
- Melany Klemmer- OPTA/PTN update
- Permit Tech training class upcoming March 15th
- Spring Training Conference will be in Bend @ Riverhouse
- OPTA Board Retreat on February17th-19th
- Ted Zuk- OBOA/Region II
- OBOA Winter QBM February 23rd in Woodburn (with tour of new Amazon Building)
- OBOA ABM July 17-19th in Bend @ Riverhouse
- Region II will have a raffle for a fly fishing trip in Montana
- Region II is looking to team up for a donation to Women Leaders in Code Enforcement
- Wendy McKay- Oregon BCD
- ORSC should be starting to ship
- Code update videos are available online
- Self-certification needs to be submitted by Sept. 30th
- New Plan Review tool for design criteria
- Upcoming final inspection training course
- 2-3 weeks for ORSC digital access
- Wendy announced her retirement!
V. New Business
- Serena Locke made a motion to table Women in Code Enforcement donation vote to next meeting
- Melany Klemmer seconded the motion
- Motion approved
VI. Open Discussion
- ABM Location discussion- Driftwood Shores in Florence, Bandon Inn, Pier Point Inn in Florence
- Spring Training- May 16th tentative date (Fire Alarms & Means of Egress)
- Upcoming Sprinkler Class discussion- February 21-23rd.
- Building Code Forum- Chad Wiltrout
- Next Meeting- Zoom: Thursday, February 29th @1:00
