I. Call to Order
- The general meeting was called to order @ 12:09 pm by Breck Cook, President
- Members Present: Breck Cook, Marc Bangma, Serena Locke, Jeremy Faircloth, Dave Jahn, Nathanial Patzke, Frank Wharregard, Chad Wiltrout, Chase Browning, Melany Klemmer, Brady Hickman, Jim Sayers, Stephen Simms, James Schultz, & Jay Stine

II. Approval of Agenda / Minutes
Minutes from February 2024
- Serena Locke made a motion to approve the minutes.
- Chad Wiltrout made a second to the motion.
- Motion approved.
III. Reports of Officers
Treasure’s report January 2024
- Treasurer’s Operating Report – Nathanial Patzke
- Dave Jahn made a motion to approve the report.
- Frank Wharregard made a second to the motion.

IV. Guest Speakers
- Serena Locke- OPTA/PTN update
- Spring Education Conference will be May 1st-3rd in Bend @ the Riverhouse,
- Virtual Education will be April 9th-11th

- OBOA Spring Education Conference will be April 16th-18th in Lebanon
- Breck Cook- Region II
- Region II will have a raffle for a fly fishing trip in Montana
- Stephen Simms- Oregon BCD
- SB 1537 – Governors Housing Bill- Creation of H.A.P.O
- BCD has hired a staff member for embedded carbon study
- HB 4016 – Extend Fire Hardening Grant Program
- Rulemaking: OEESC – Update ASHRAE 90.1 from 2019 to 2022
- Rulemaking: SPI Certification- update to incorporate 2” water svc.
- Reminder: Be sure to complete your code update training by September

- April Board Meeting will be in Orlando
- Leadership Training will also be held in Orlando

- Day of Service – May 11th, 2024
- T-Shirts are still on Sale to support the event

VI. Open Discussion
- ABM will be at Driftwood Shores in Florence, Oregon on August 15th & 16th

- Chapter Hosted Spring Training will be @ Jackson County Community Justice Building on May 16th

- Chase Browning- 1-3 : Fire Alarms
- Chapter Meeting from 12-1
- Chase Browning made a motion to set the class registration fee @ $95.00 (Both Classes with Lunch); $25.00 (Meeting with Lunch)
- Melany Klemmer made a second to the motion.
- Membership held a vote and approved the motion.
- Melany Klemmer made a motion to make a $500.00 donation to the Women Leaders in Code Enforcement event in Austin.
- Chad Wiltrout made a second to the motion.
- Membership held a vote and approved the motion.
- Jackson County Home Show is May 3rd-5th
- Chad Wiltrout made a motion to purchase a booth at the home show.
- Nathanial Patzke seconded the motion.
- Membership held a vote and approved the motion.
- Building Code Forum- Next meeting is TBD
